Almost done... but not quite yet, so don't stick a fork in it. Another boring dining room table shot of a sweater in the blocking stage. Today I'll purchase the buttons and tomorrow if it should snow in this 80-degree weather, I'll be ready to don my new sweater vest.
Vital Statistics
Pattern: Shire Silk Vest (Plymouth Yarn Company). Knit 'N Style, April 2007, Issue #148.
Modifications: Knitted in one piece to the armholes rather than right front, left front and back. Used 3-needle bind-off to attach shoulders. Stitch Pattern B has an error and should read Row 2: P4, *(K2, P4);
Yarn: Queensland Collection, Kathmandu DK, Colour: 400. Four or five balls.
Skill Level: Listed as intermediate; however, it is a very simple knit.
I'm off to pull weeds in the flower beds, take a dip in the pool and then go shopping for buttons.

Thank you for the comment on my hoodie. I love the vest you're working on and although I haven't posted previously I have admired many of your projects! I will leave comments from now on since I enjoy finding comments from those whom presuse my blog.
