Fiber Lesson #1

Thank you all for your anniversary wishes. I think bloggers are the most kindhearted individuals or maybe I should say knitters are the most kindhearted.

This morning I got up bright and early to give Harley a fiber lesson. I sometimes think he is confused as to what his mission is in life. He has the attitude that he is the number one pet in our household of which Sam, the dog, disagrees. So I thought I would explain to him about fiber and yarn.

Lesson #1 : You are a fiber producing animal. To which Harley replied that he is a funny bunny and doesn't really care how much fiber he produces. He just wants to have a fun time! (He has a little bit of my attitude.)

The yarn in the picture is from KnitPicks and it arrived this week. The earth tones are going to become a fair isle tote. Sandra (Knitting Satori) has a KAL for the Nicky Epstein Tote featured in the Holiday Edition of VK. And the blue yarn is destined to become a sweater for my darling daughter, Kristen.

This past week I've been working on a scarf and an afghan. I'm such a knitterbug, always leaving remnants of knitting strewn throughout the family room.
I can't share the couch with anyone. It's mine, all mine. I truly have issues.

Hope everyone has a great knitting week!
