Poor Salina......

Poor, poor Salina..... for two weeks she's been on life support; limp and breathless, waiting to be blocked. She's barely holding on by a thread. So since I'm off work Monday, I think I'll shake the dust off of her, wet 'er down, and block the tramp.

With today being Father's Day and the kids away at college. I had the task of entertaining Mr. Effer. You know, be a good wife and plan an activity for the day. Sorta like babysitting a toddler. So Mr. Effer and I took a lackadaisical drive to Ithaca, NY, to the Farmers Market. It's a quaint market located on Cayuga Lake. We hung out for the afternoon sampling wines, eating ethnic foods and listening to some bongo music.

Despite the overcast sky, the weather was beautiful.... in the low 80's with a cool breeze coming off of the lake.

I managed to save enough energy for the ride home to cast on for the Nicole Jacket.

So that was my day, I mean Mr. Effer's Father's Day!!! Did you do anything special for a man in your life?

Bill and I love going to Ithaca! Happy to hear you and Effer had a nice day.

I see you found yourself some nice DK!!! Hope the Nicole jacket works better for you than that other nasty pattern.

Have fun with Saleena tomorrow!

Nice job, looks like that was fun!

We had my family over and we BBQ'd for Dad. It was a lot of fun.

Good luck with Salina... :)

Can't wait to see Salina!

I love that farmer's market! Wish I was there.

I worked on Father's Day. Then my parents, husband, and I went out to dinner.

Your day looked very nice.

I let Tom go to work. Then I allowed him to mow the lawn. Such a lucky man! LOL!

Good luck with Salina!
