I cheated . . . .

on Salina. I gave it my all to stay true to Salina and remain in a monogamous relationship, but it came to an abrupt end this past weekend. My eyes and fingers looked elsewhere for a little love.... I casted on for a sock. Yes, I needed a little sock love. So at the current time, I have two loves in my life.
Warm air and sunshine has finally arrived in Central New York. Hence, the need for Allavert as the allergies and asthma have flared up. Sooooo, pleeeeease reach into my head and take away my mucus.

My head needs help!

I used to think that I had to live in project monogamy. I don't. I am fickle. I need variety. I need a sock on the needles at all times no matter what else is going on. I 'yam what I 'yam...

Aw, the knitting will forgive you. Now, I am really jealous of that glass head. Before I was a knitter, I saw some for sale at Pier 1 and I thought, "hey, cool." Now I know I should have bought that head. I could be blocking hats on it!

We weren't meant to be monogamous. If we were, they wouldn't have invented KnitPicks Options!

Love the head. LOL!

well, much as that's a lovely and enticingly thoughtful idea to invite us to share your mucus.. I'm gonna have to pass, you're on your own with that one!

Socks aren't cheating! They are just a little flirtation.
Allergies suck.

As bad as the allergies can get, I think there's no better place than springtime in CNY. Sooo beautiful!

I agree that socks aren't considered cheating!

I have to agree with Laurie here, knitters just weren't meant to be monogamous - and I'm sure your Salina will forgive you! ;) Sometimes we just need a little distraction from bigger projects, to find the energy and motivation again to get going with it!
Poor you, I can well imagine what you're going through with your allergies - I'm sending over lots of good thoughts and hope that you'll be feeling much, much better quickly!
