Salina ...

creeps along. It seems like I have been forever knitting Salina. I love the yarn, Rowan Felted Tweed, but I am growing tired of stockinette stitch. I am knitting the sweater in the round, and now I'm at the underarms so it's time to divide the sweater into front and back pieces and knit according to the pattern so I don't screw it up.

And with spring in the air (finally), I have decided to give the blog a good dusting and cleaning. I will continue to update the sidebar with the blogs that I read so if you don't see your blog title there, be patient. A girl can only do so much in a day!

The Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival is next weekend, and Mia (Stoned Knitter) and I can't decide if we want to go. In the past, I've always jumped at the opportunity to go to a fiber festival. But right now, I've got fiber coming out of my ying-yang, and I really like making my purchases online. I've developed a crush on our UPS guy, and can't wait to see his tan legs a little later in the summer. I feel blessed that we are one of the last houses on his route, and he arrives around 4 p.m. as it gives me plenty of time to get home from work and freshen up. Susan (Needles and Stash) on the other hand, has a deep relationship with her delivery guy!!! Isn't that right, Susan? I better be quiet, I don't want to give away anymore secrets!!!

Man I need to start working from home more often :) I'm never there so I have no idea if the UPS guy is cute or not.

Not only is the UPS guy cute (and I think we have the same one Diana) but he doesn't rat me out like the mailman who commented to my DH that I was "the package queen" of the neighborhood!!!

LOVVVVVVVE the new photo .. it's so YOU!!!
But HEY! ... how come I was cut from the blog list!!! )-:

Love your new design! My friend used to be a UPS driver and he said that women just FELL at his feet at his various regular stops...I'm forgoing MS & W because I really don't need any more yarn for say the next 5 years!

Liking the new picture!

I understand about the fiber out the wazoo but MDS&W is just soo much fun with the shear wooliness of it...

Your Salina is coming along so beautifully - but I can well understand that you're getting bored by the miles of stockinette stich! But then again... hang on there, it'll be absolutely worth it in the end!
And hey, I absolutely love your new design and the new pic - great!

Totally unrelated but the Jetsons are on a cable cartoon station that Time warner carries. We saw an episode the other day. Don't remember which station (Toon maybe?). It's all retro toons or at least it was when we found it.
