I finished a cabled scarf this morning, and I can't wait to knit some mittens to match. This pattern was truly a fun and quick knit. Thanks, Becky, for the pattern. She always finds the best patterns, but, unfortunately, she doesn't have a blog to show off all of her beautiful knitting.

Pattern: Keep It Simple, Cabled Scarf, by Barbara Selesnick
Needles: Size US 11
Yarn: Knit Picks Panache. Color: Cinnamon.
Of course, I couldn't follow the pattern exactly as written; I made just a few minor alterations. I casted on 32 stitches instead of 30, and I knitted a seed stitch border instead of garter. I also didn't attach any fringe.
Hope everyone has a wonderful week of knitting and/or spinning! Toodles....

That is awesome! The color is so rich! I love the quick knits...my patience is somewhat limited on the best of days.
Yummy! I just love cables!
Of course you picked a spicy color, you spicy lady. LOL. I love it. It looks warm, soft, and perfect for keeping the cold winds away.
Another beautiful job!
Gorgeous, nice work!
Oh my gosh I made the same scarf in high school home ec. Mine was black wool back when that was what the dimestore sold, red heart used to be wool back in the day!
