I'm just about finished knitting the handles. But I couldn't wait, so I felted the bag first. And notice the KnitPicks Option needles; I got them for Christmas from Mr. Effer. I am definitely going to knit another fair isle tote bag because it was a lot of fun!
Short post today. I'm home playing nurse to my son who had three wisdom teeth extracted today. He now resembles a chipmunk!

The Fair Isle Bag is the thing I keep thinking might get me past my fear of colorwork. It's felted, so my messiness won't really show... Nice job! It's a great looking bag.
I remember the wisdom teeth! Codeine was my bestest friend after that little procedure. I hope your son feels better soon. (take pictures of the chipmunk look. Great for later blackmailing purposes...)
Hey Diana, you really did that fast! I'll give you a great tip to keep a nice structure to your bag. Make a fabric lining backed with iron on Peltex...the really thick, stiff stuff. You can get it at Joann's. It makes a huge difference in your finished bag. It looks great, though, I can't wait to see it completed!
The bag is lovely. Now you can stop using that brown paper bag to hide your bottle.
Hope Scott isn't having to bad a time of it. Ice is his friend!
Diana, Your bag looks wonderful. I love it. Wait till you get the handles on it, you will want to carry it every where.
Hope your son is doing better. I do agree with sheepish annie about the pictures, I keep a couple of the embarassing kids photos with me at all times, you know, just in case. hahahahaha.
Love the bag!!.. Absolutely adore the needles.. my aunt got me the option needles for my christmas present!! I LOVE THEM the sharper points the flexi cable *droolllsss*
Great looking bag!!! Good luck with the undie search, I can relate, I need new bras!!!!
Ooh I love your bag! Those colors are great. I need to try felting one of these days. Is it a sturdy fabric?
