Breaking Bread

It was a lazy, rainy Saturday morning.... I finally got dressed and went to the gym to work off the Friday night alcohol and snacks. While I was on the treadmill sweating buckets, I was contemplainting whether or not to frog the sweater sleeve. See what I did was cast on the correct number of stitches for the cuff but then in an alcohol impaired state increased and knitted the sleeve two sizes bigger. When will I learn that Amaretto slushes and knitting do not mix well? So here's a pic of the sleeve.

So I met Miss Mia (Stoned Knitter) at the Jordan Diner for some advice and early afternoon breakfast. And by the way, I'm taking her advice and not frogging the sleeve. She's right.... It's a 2-toddler sweater and the kid will wear it only one season and it will be tossed aside, so why re-do it. No one will notice. So I ended the turmoil; decided I could live with my mistake. We broke bread.... Miss Mia brought some just-outta-the-oven French bread that she baked from scratch. My, oh my, was it ever delicious.

And then we pigged out on this....

With arteries full of cholesterol, we headed out to a craft show. Not much there and no purchases were made. But we had a good time.

Toodles.... I'm off to the gym and then I'm coming home to work on that sweater in a non-alcohol impaired state. No more mistakes!!!!
