Another Rhinebeck

has come and gone.... Mr. Effer and I had a great time! Okay, I probably had a better time than the Effer, but I did catch a glimpse of him waiting in line for a haircut.


I purchased some fibery goodness.... some 50/50 merino and alpaca in gray and some in chocolate brown. Tonight I'll be dusting off the wheel and begin spinning. The fiber is so soft, and I really want to make something for me and only me!!!!




And then I purchased some DK weight alpaca in a musk color, which again I want to keep for myself. I think I'm being a bit selfish but I never knit anything just for me! So I am going to spoil myself.



And I picked up a little fibery goodness for Susan (Needles and Stash), who couldn't make it to Rhinebeck because of a bum knee. But because she might be peeking, I won't post a picture. I'll have to bounce over to her blog and see if she is done whining. Lordy, lordy can that girl whine!!!

All in all, Rhinebeck was a good trip even though I didn't catch up to any bloggers and I missed the blogger meetup at building E.

Well, gotta run and start up the wheel....
