Nuthin' but.....

a bum! Yep, I've been nuthin' but a bum lately. Not too much knitting nor too much of anything but enjoying the last days of summer. I can't believe that prior to Labor Day I heard the Canada geese honkin' overhead beginning their migration. It's so depressing to hear them take flight and head south.

Oh, but I did make a yarn purchase from Cabin Cove. The skeins will eventually become socks. When? I don't know. But there is a future for them!

I've been knitting a pair of socks from my stash so that I have an excuse to buy more yarn at Rhinebeck. I think I'll be strutting these at Rhinebeck!

I must say that this yarn is the softest sock yarn my fingers have ever fondled... and my tootsies just can't wait. The brand is Silja, made in Norway. The sheep must be softer there! It's been in my stash for so long that I can't remember from where I purchased it. But I absolutely love it and would buy it again and again.
