As The World Spins

I really suck stink at spinning. Boy, do I need help. Mia, do you hear me yelling "HELP?"

My first attempts look like dreadlocks! So you'll probably see me with a new hairstyle!

I think I need to be under the influence take a class to get the hang of it!

It's Here, It's Here!

I just got home from "nurse's night out," which is my monthly night out with a group of crazy, neurotic nurses and a package arrived for me.

For the past few weeks I've been buying roving and driving my husband crazy. I now have six pounds of roving, some of which I will have to dye. Oh I can't wait!!!!!! I just love Mr. Effer.

I Wanna Hold Your Hand!

Well winter has returned to Central New York. We have freezing rain and nipply weather. Did I say nippley? I wonder which is the correct spelling?

I got off work today, on time, for the first time ever. I left at 3:15 and swung by the house to pick up Mr. Effer. I thought he could drive and I could knit on the way to Debbie's house. So, long story short, Mr. Effer gets hungry and wants to eat at Wendy's. Of course, I'm agreeable and never turn down a good, greasy burger and salty fries with ketchup. Anyhoo, when we came out of Wendy's, the pavement was a sheet of ice, and I fell flat on my back. I couldn't get up and Mr. Effer just slid past me. Normally I would be embarrassed, but the pain exceeded the pride. And I think when you get older, you just don't give a damn about what other people think. Well after a few tries with a few people and a few moans and groans, I was back in the vertical position. Everyone was slipping and sliding, having difficulty standing upright. Don't you think they should have given me a coupon for a free food item instead of just offering to call an ambulance?

Anyway, I'm just fine and have the next two days off of work. And because I fell, I won't be able to catch dust bunnies or work around the house, although I am well enough to knit!
