What a Depressing Moment

What a depressing moment..... all it took was a click or two..... I lost my list of favorite blogs and buttons. What the hell did I do? Damn that HTML shit! So here it is Saturday night, and I'm not having an enjoyable time repairing my blog. I guess I'll have to have another mudslide!

They're Here!

The house is rockin' with family this week. My sister, her husband and grandkids arrived Saturday for Scott's graduation, which was this past Sunday. Also, my daughter, Kristen, arrived Friday. They all traveled from St. Louis, Missouri. So with a house full of family, I haven't had much time to update my blog or knit. However, today, my sister and I felted a hat. (Hopefully, I can post pictures tomorrow.) The hat looks great, and we had a fun time! Of course, the day was fun; we started the day off with a mudslide for breakfast!

I don't understand her method of knitting. She is left-handed and knits really weird. It looks like she knits backwards. I'll try to explain her method. She takes the left needle and goes into the back loop of the stitch on the right needle and then throws her yarn clockwise around the left needle, and then transfers the knitted stitch off the right needle onto the left needle. (Her finished knit stitches are on the left needle and she holds her yarn in her left hand.) Are there any lefties out there in blogland? Do you all knit that way? And to add to the confusion, my great niece Gracie wants to learn to knit and she's a southpaw, too.

Anyhoo, hopefully I will have time to post some pictures tomorrow.
